American Craft Convening | Event Illustration & Design

A celebration of craftsmanship, creativity, and community, the American Craft Convening brought together 30 maker businesses of the Nest Guild.

I was commissioned to develop a cohesive illustrated visual identity for the event, translating its themes of craftsmanship, creativity, learning, and connection into a collection of custom-designed event materials.

Inspired by the spirit of making and the art of snail mail, I developed a visual language incorporating postage stamps, postmarks, and playful illustrated details. This concept carried across a range of event touchpoints, including a custom photo backdrop, tote bags, notebooks, postcards, posters, and name tags.

The result was a cohesive collection of illustrated pieces that brought the event's identity to life, creating opportunities for connection, conversation, and a little creative inspiration along the way.
